Let’s talk sustainability and mapping your carbon footprint!
We’ll discuss the importance of measuring your carbon footprint, helping you make sense of the many indicators and which ones to start working with. We will also provide some tools to help you begin tracking your business’ carbon footprint, ending with a discussion of what to do with the information you’ll soon be tracking and sharing our own footprint with you. Ideal for those businesses who have started to think about sustainability and want to start tracking their carbon footprints (or understand why they might do so for their sustainability journey, although we welcome folks at any point along their sustainability journey.

Pedro is a Colombian Biologist and Chemical Engineer, with a MSc degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Vienna with a background in education, working with learning communities in sparking interest and raising awareness towards sustainable development and science.
As Sustainability and Impact Coordinator for Caravela Coffee, Pedro works on developing key alliances, both within the organization and with other stakeholders of the coffee industry, to generate impact to smallholder coffee farmer households by creating initiatives that better visualize environmental, social and governance within coffee producing communities in Latin America, promoting collaborative actions to close them, monitoring that sustainable practices are being adopted throughout the entire supply chain, and advocating for coffee to be sustainably sourced and ethically traded.
